The first principal round of the second International Olympiad of Metropolises was completed in Moscow. The competitions took place at four different locations simultaneously. The “Integral” school welcomed young experts in chemistry, schools 2030 and 1253 hosted the competitions in physics and mathematics correspondingly, and Yandex headquarters opened its doors to those who study informatics.
In the first round those who competed in chemistry and physics had to conduct an experiment. The mathematics tasks involved solving problems, and students competing in informatics had to write programs and upload them to the testing system.
The participants’ programs are checked automatically, and the results are known right at the end of the informatics competition. It was the teams from Chengdu, Moscow, Krakow, Minsk and Shanghai that gave the best performances today. Use the link to see the complete results of the first informatics round. As for the other disciplines, the results will be announced after the jury grades the contestants’ works.
